In an otherwise typical annoying Monday drive, it really lifted my spirits to see a sun dog over the freeway this morning, and it made me even happier that it was still around when I made it to work to take this picture! I love sun dogs. It’s gotten so much colder here in the past 15 hours, so at least there’s something pretty to show for it :)

This photo is tagged as design inspiration, mostly because sun dogs, to me, are a good example of a rainbow that isn’t typical or cheesy, but more rare. Might be a stretch, I know, but I’m inspired to put a few unobtrusive rainbows on things.
